Anton Stach moves to TSG Hoffenheim
Midfielder departs having featured in 68 competitive games for FSV
Anton Stach will leave 1. FSV Mainz 05 to join fellow Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim. The 24-year-old joined the Zerofivers in summer 2021 from SpVgg Greuther Fürth and featured in 68 competitive matches for the club (2 goals, 13 assists). Stach made his senior debut for Germany while at Mainz, winning two caps under Hansi Flick. The details of the transfer will remain undisclosed.
“Anton Stach came to us from the second division and quickly settled in and became a regular in our team. His call-up to the senior national team is proof of the excellent development he has undergone in Mainz. Stachi came to us seeking a change, and we have now granted his request. Our negotiations with TSG Hoffenheim were tough but fair, and in the end, we found a solution that met our demands.
