Aymen Barkok moves to Hertha BSC on loan

The attacking midfielder has joined the second-division side until the end of the season

Aymen Barkok has moved on loan to 2.Bundesliga side Hertha BSC until the end of the season. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder, who arrived at the Bruchweg in summer 2022, has played in 13 competitive matches for the 05ers this season, scoring one goal and registering an assist.

“Aymen wanted more minutes and a change of scenery. Moving on loan to Hertha BSC is a chance for him. We wish him all the best for his time in Berlin,” said Mainz 05’s sporting director Martin Schmidt.
