Burgzorg joins Huddersfield on loan

Delano Burgzorg has joined Championship side Huddersfield Town on loan until the end of the season. The 24-year-old striker, who arrived at Mainz in January 2022, has made 18 competitive appearances for the Zerofivers to date (1 goal, 4 assists).

“Delano is a very talented player and going to Huddersfield Town provides him with the opportunity to get more minutes. Having regular game time will help him harness the huge potential that he has. We wish him all the best for his time in England,” said M05 sporting director Martin Schmidt.
