Four academy players in training camp squad
FSV’s squad for trip to Austria
1. FSV Mainz 05’s summer training camp begins on Wednesday in Brixental in Tyrol. The club will be staying at the ‘Hohe Salve Sportresort’, which belongs to the family-run consortium Pletzer, based in Tyrol. The 05ers will mainly be training at FC Bruckhäusl’s ground in nearby Kirchbichl. The first training session is set to start at around 17:00 CEST on Wednesday. The club will inform supporters of training times on their social media channels.
25 first-team players will head to Austria alongside four academy players from the U23s, goalkeeper Maximilian Kinzig, defender Philipp Schulz and midfielders Daniel Gleiber and Jason Amann.
One friendly currently planned
There is currently one friendly planned for the time in Austria. The 05ers will play fellow Bundesliga side Holstein Kiel on Friday, 2nd August at 15:00 CEST. The game will consist of three 45-minute periods at the Silberstadt Arena in Schwaz. Tickets cost 15€, while kids up until the age of 14 can get in for free. The stadium will open an hour before the game.
