Ingvartsen completes Nordsjælland move

Marcus Ingvartsen has left 1. FSV Mainz 05 to return to his home country after completing a move to Danish side FC Nordsjælland. The 27-year-old, who came to Bruchweg from Union Berlin in summer 2021, made 58 competitive appearances for the Zerofivers, scoring 19 goals.

“At his boyhood club FC Nordsjælland, Marcus has the opportunity to take on an important role as a leading player and increase his chances of making Denmark’s squad for EURO 2024. That is why he came to us with this transfer request.
