Mainz to host friendly against Eintracht Frankfurt

Match to be played behind closed doors / Public training session on 2nd January

2024’s final opponents will be 2025’s first opponents: the 1. FSV Mainz 05 first-team squad will host a 120-minute friendly against Eintracht Frankfurt at the Bruchwegstadion on Sunday, 5th January (15:00 CET). The match will be played behind closed doors.

Training to start on 2nd January

After a short rest over the festive period, Mainz 05’s first-team squad will get to work in 2025 with a public training session on Thursday, 2nd January. Head coach Bo Henriksen and his team will commence with preparations for the first game back against VfL Bochum on Saturday, 11th January (15:30 CET, MEWA ARENA) with a session on the training pitch next to the Bruchwegstadion.
