Tim Müller has signed his first professional contract at 1. FSV Mainz 05. The 19-year-old left-back and current U23 player, who won the A-Junioren Bundesliga title with our U19s, has received a contract until 2026.
Sporting director Martin Schmidt said: “Tim made the step up from the U19s to the U23s last summer and has managed the transition from boys’ to men’s football very well, becoming a key part of the defence straight away in his first year. He brings all the qualities a modern full-back needs, so we’re very pleased that he’ll continue his development with us here in Mainz and that we’ve been able to honour another academy product with a professional contract.”
