Plans for this year’s pre-season are beginning to take shape, with a training camp in Hopfgarten scheduled for 31st July to 7th August.
The 1. FSV Mainz 05 training camp ahead of the 2024/25 season will take place in the Kitzbühel district of Tyrol between 31st July and 7th August. The 05ers will spend a week at the Hohe Salve sports resort in Hopfgarten-Markt, which belongs to the family-run Pletzer group. The team’s training sessions will take place at FC Bruckhäusl in nearby Kirchbichl and SV Hopfgarten/Itter in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
The FSV training camp is being organised in collaboration with the Kitzbühel Tourism Association, which is also offering various accommodation packages around the training camp for fans eager to get close to their footballing heroes (click here). First friendlies after the summer break confirmed
The dates for the Mainz first team’s first two friendly matches ahead of the 24/25 Bundesliga season have also been confirmed. First, the team will face 05 affiliate club TSV Langenlonsheim/Laubenheim at the TSV sports ground on 6th July (14:00 CEST). The Bad Kreuznach A-Klasse side won the chance to play against FSV in a draw among Mainz’s partner clubs.
