Ajorque joins Stade Brestois
The forward returns to Ligue 1 after a year and a half at Mainz
Ludovic Ajorque has joined Stade Brestois on loan with an option to buy. The side from Brittany finished third in Ligue 1 last season. The 30-year-old forward joined the 05ers in January 2023 and has since made 46 competitive appearances for the club in the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal, scoring nine goals and providing one assist.
“Ludovic Ajorque came to us asking to make a change, and we agreed to this after careful consideration. We’ve got to know Ludo not just as a good footballer, but also a great guy. We’d like to thank him for his efforts and goals for Mainz 05 and wish him well for his time in Brest,” said Christian Heidel.
Ludovic Ajorque himself added: “My time with Mainz 05 has been a really great experience for me and my family. I enjoyed being a part of this club and have a lot of good memories. Thank you for everything, and I wish every 05er all the best.”
