05ers to play friendly against club partner Ingelheim in July

Draw was made during this past weekend’s home fixture

The 05ers’ opponent for their first friendly of pre-season preparations ahead of the 2025/26 campaign has been decided. Stefan Hofmann, chairman of the board at Mainz 05, drew the name of SpVgg Ingelheim on the MEWA ARENA pitch at half-time during the most recent home fixture between Mainz and Holstein Kiel. The friendly match is set to kick-off at 14:00 CEST on 5th July at the Stadion Blumengarten in Ingelheim.
