Pre-season to begin on 3rd July

First dates of the 2024/25 season are now set in stone

1. FSV Mainz 05 will begin pre-season ahead of the 2024/25 Bundesliga campaign on Wednesday, 3rd July (17:00 CEST). The training session at the Bruchwegstadion will be open to the fans.

The players will return two days beforehand to complete their pre-season medical and performance tests. Those players away on international duty will be back in Mainz at a later date depending on when their holiday is.

First pre-season friendlies announced

FSV’s first opponents for pre-season have also been decided. The 05ers will play TSV Langenlonsheim-Laubenheim, the winner of the competition among Mainz’s partner clubs, and FC Basara Mainz as part of their anniversary. Exact dates and venues for the pre-season friendlies and summer training camp will follow in due course.
