Two Nations League matches await Phillipp Mwene.
Six first team players will not be in team training on the Bruchweg with the rest of the 1. FSV Mainz 05 squad during the international break, rather they will be on duty with their national sides. Jonathan Burkardt has not been called up to the Germany squad this time around and Paul Nebel has not travelled with the Germany U21s either, instead staying in Mainz and preserving energy.
