Stefan Bell sidelined again

Mainz 05 will be without Stefan Bell for several weeks. The centre-back picked up a nasty bacterial infection, which, recent scans have revealed, led to myocarditis. Bell, who has been training individually so far this year and hasn’t taken part in any team sessions, faces an extended spell on the sidelines. It is unclear how long it will take for the 32-year-old to recover.
