Tom Krauß joins Bochum on loan
Recalled from England to return to the Bundesliga
Tom Krauß will spend the remainder of the 2024/2025 campaign on loan at VfL Bochum. The 23-year-old has been recalled from an original year-long loan spell at Championship club Luton Town in order to carry out a short-term stint with the fellow German top-flight club. Krauß made 23 appearances for Luton following his debut for the club in September (two goals, four assists).
“Tom gained the match practice that he had hoped to with Luton. He became an essential component in their team over the half year he spent there, contributing with a number of goals and assists. For that reason, we are happy that his loan spell in England was as beneficial as we had hoped. The opportunity has since arisen for him to return to the Bundesliga and spend the remainder of the season on loan in Bochum. He came to us with the desire to make this move and we have made all the necessary arrangements with Luton Town and VfL Bochum. We wish Tom all the best for his time in Bochum,” said 05ers sporting director Niko Bungert.
